The Costa Rica Coffee Experience is a to-go coffee shop but offers a whole lot of other things too - somewhat of a general store feel.

They carry products and handmade items from Costa Rica, with an emphasis on organic and ecological goods.  The first attraction as you enter is the smell of fresh brewed, organic, locally grown coffee from Costa Rica.  There are several styles ranging from smooth to bold, and you are welcome to a free sample.  Once you decide on the one you prefer, you can order a full cup and/or purchase it already ground and packaged, or by the whole bean.

They also carry local honey, dried pineapple, and a unique line of food products known as "Monkey Poop", a humorous name!  They sell many different kinds of artisan products produced by several Indian Tribes from Costa Rica, such as bowls, hand carved wooden masks, T-shirts, local jewelry, coconut oil salves and creams and local art, perfect for a gift or souvenir to remember your trip to Costa Rica.

They have an attentive and friendly staff to assist you, with a strong focus on customer service. Stewart, the owner has travelled all over the world and knows the unique types of gifts and items that travelers like to purchase.

The staff are well informed about products and offer quite an education on organic cashews, vanilla, ceylon and cocoa.  They sell organic chocolate of various types, pineapple licorice and other unique food-based items.

The decor is eclectic and fun and the friendly staff make this one of the best souvenir shops in Jaco.

Located on the main street in Jaco across from Banco Nacional in Torre del Tiempo building. They can also be found on Facebook at theCostaRicaCoffeeExperience.
