Family friendly museums in Huntsville, Alabama  Our city has many great museums, but I would like to tell about some that children will love as well as adults.  1.  Earlyworks--This is the south's largest hands-on history museum.  Children learn about Alabama history while having a wonderful time exploring a keel boat, dressing in historical garb, listening to talking trees or playing games.  2.  Alabama Constitution Village--Here children can interact with period costumed docents.  the museum is located on the actual site where the state of Alabama began.  3.  Sci-Quest--At this hands-on facility children learn many science facts while having fun!  There are over 150 exhibits to explore!  4.  U.S. Space and Rocket Center--This complex has interactive exhibits as well as rides, an imax theater, and manhy fascinating artifacts relating to space exploration.   A bus tour is available which allows one to explore the Marshall Space Flight Center.  5.  Burritt On The Mountain--This beautiful facility is atop nearby Monte Sano mountain, and consists of a 14 room mansion, nature trails, farms and farm animals.  Special programs are available for children.  Huntsville is a great place for children to learn and have a lot of fun in the process!
