I think Arlington is best known for its well-priced ethnic restaurants, specifically Asian.  Some of my favorites include Pho 75 in Rosslyn, Little Viet Garden in Clarendon, and although it's technically in Falls Church (right on the border), Eden Center with a multitude of Vietnamese options (my favorite is Huong Que-Four Sisters) or one of the delis for cheap sandwiches and bubble tea.

Other great, inexpensive choices included Taqueria Poblano for Tex-Mex and great margharitas, El Pollo Rico for rotisserie chicken, Ravi Kabob for Pakistani and Delhi Dhaba for Indian.  And I can't leave out the Italian Store for the best pizza and subs around (only a few seats outside, so more of a take-out place, but really, really good!)

There aren't too many upscale dining options in Arlington, but for something a bit nicer, I think Tallula (near Clarendon) and Carlyle (Shirlington) are good choices.

There's really something for every taste!  Enjoy!
