Spring and Autumn (best time to visit)

Spring brings thunderstorms, but really nice temperatures and lovely wild flowers throughout the city parks and nearby countryside to Austin.  Autumn temperatures can be a relief from the sweltering heat of summer, perfect for spending weekends outdoors.  Overall  April and October tend to be the best times to visit in terms of weather.
