If you are going to fly into the Ashland area, arrive at Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport, which is about 10 miles north in Medford. Approximately 40 flights arrive and depart each day, primarily connections from Portland or San Francisco, via United, Horizon, or Alaska Air. Other cities served include Seattle, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Spokane, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Ontario.

From there it’s a 20 minute drive into Ashland, and you can take a shuttle directly into Ashland with Cascade Airport Shuttle     http://www.cascadeshuttle.com/  .  There are also several cab companies serving the area.  If you prefer to rent a car, there are four agencies right at the airport.

Most visitors to Ashland arrive by car.  If you are driving to Ashland , it is located just off I-5 about 10 miles from the California border. From I-5 use exits 14 or 19.  The drive takes about 9 hours from Seattle;  4.5 hours from Portland;  5.5 hours from Sacramento;  6.5 hours from San Francisco;  11.5 hours from Los Angeles;  5 hours from Reno;  15.5 hours from Las Vegas, and 12 hours from Boise.

You can also take an Amtrak train to Klamath Falls, which is 70 miles east of Ashland, or to Dunsmuir, California, which is 75 miles to the south. From either place you can take the bus into Ashland via Greyhound Bus.
