Chimelong Water Park is the largest water park in the world.  Having opened in June 2007 it contains some of the top new water ride attractions in the world and some of the only water rides to be found in Asia.  These rides will thrill those seeking adventure and a chance to cool down.  There are also numerous rides and activities for young children.  With the world's largest wave pool, the world's first Boomerango ride, the world's longest lazy river, and some of the world's fastest speed slides, this is one place that will surprise you in Guangzhou.

Chimelong Water Park is located in Panyu District, Guangzhou, 30mins from the heart of Guangzhou city and is accessible by Metro Train Line 3, at Hanxi-Changlong Station, or reachable by taxi and private vehicle.  For more information see their website:  www.chimelongwaterpark.com

I actually stayed in the new part of the complexes 5 star hotel.

The rooms were very good ...but not a world class 5 star standard... more like 4 star..

The restraunts on site were a little more expensive than the average 5 star price in China...with a hefty 15^ service charge.

The highlights of the hotel were the White Tigers....

otherwise not that much impressive.

The water park to say the least is ok... but nothing to shout about.

For the Guys amongst u.... u need to wear swimming trunks...the briefs style...u cannot wear the long shorts type...according to them they are not swimming gear!!
