Koh Lipe Thailand

Koh Lipe is a small island in Southern Thailand and is part of the Butang Islands in Tarutao National Marine Park. Being located in the Andaman sea, only 1 hour by speed boat from Langkawi, it boasts generally very calm and clear waters making it perfect for a day of snorkeling or diving. The island itself is quite small, there is a path around the island which takes approx 1 ½ hours to circumnavigate.

Getting there

There is a speedboat that leaves from Telaga Harbour daily from November to May. There is no jetty on Koh Lipe, depending on tides you will arrive directly onto the beach or onto a pontoon and be delivered to the beach by a long tail boat. Be prepared to get your feet wet!
