Located eighteen miles to the south of Tokyo , it is practically as easy to get around Yokohama as it is to move about in its northern neighbor.  The city's subway system of 32 stations encompass every major neighborhood and tourist attraction, and a visitor can easily purchase a discount day pass good for a 24-hour period of sightseeing journeys into any of Yokohama’s marvelous neighborhoods.

There are also one-day passes for all the buses that traverse the city’s endless streets.  One can also grab an Akai Kutsu sightseeing excursion bus, on weekdays or weekends, while paying only half prices for kids.

Driving is also possible, and to get to and from Tokyo, just get on the Shuto Kosoku Wangan Expressway.

There are also sightseeing options via boat or helicopter.  Check here for more information regarding these alternatives.
