Lifestart Foundation Workshop at 77 Phan Chu Trinh Street.  This small workshop sells handmade arts and crafts such as cards, lanterns, hats and scarves.  All ideal presents to take home on the plane.  It is a not for profit shop and all the crafts are made by people who are either disabled or living in challenging situations.  Although slightly more expensive than the local markets the money does go directly to helping to support the workers to become self sufficient.  Visit the workshop, see the crafts being made and take home a souvenir of Hoi An and know that you have made a difference.
