The seawater is clean and not immidiatly deep, that makes it more enjoyable for kids and easier for the elderly. But  there are a lot of stones in the water that could hurt your feet. Maybe good to use plastic shoes when you get in. The beach itself is narrow and long with fine sand, there are a few showers to get the salty water off. Along the beach you can find some restaurants, small supermarkets and there are beds and parasols for rent. Minibus-stops are never far to get you back to town.
