When most people think of Croatia wine is not the first thing that comes to mind, but Split's Enoteka Terra Winery has been making Croatian wine locally at their Bacvice Beach cellars for the past ten years.  The winery supplies most of the restaurants and hotels in Croatia, and has recently opened a wine shop in Split, along with a tasting room and club, where visitors can come to purchase and try their wines.  The winery also sponsors special events at their boutique, featuring local celebrities and musicians, which are open to the public.

Enoteka makes both white and red wine varieties.  The winery's website describes the grape varieties used, as well as talks about the traditional wines of the Dalmatia area.   In addition to selling wine, Enoteka Terra's boutique also sells olive oil and other types of spirits native to the region.  The boutique is open from 9 AM to Midnight daily.  Reservations can be made for events by calling the winery at the number on top of their homepage.  For directions to Enoteka Terra, visit the location page on their website.
