The Vietnamese people everywhere are friendly and kind, expressing few anti American sentiments.  On the contrary, the Vietnamese are interested in living life in the present. It is a young population, thirty per cent under the age of 30. They are entrepreneurial and hard working. They seem very happy in general and glad to be part of a vibrant emerging economy. Though poverty indeed exists, there is hope and evidence that things are changing for the better.
