Chaweng Beach is a beautiful place to stay and the perfect place to party; imagine sitting on the sand drinking alcohol out of a bucket and letting off firecrackers all night!

There are also places where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of Chawenfg beach and just chill.

There are heaps of hotels at all different prices from budget to full indulgence.

There are lots of things to do around the island like Quad Biking, Shooting, Elephant rides, Snorkling and Scuba Diving.

The people on Koh Samui are kind and friendly to tourists.

Which beach on a hot day???
In April even though Bophut was practically empty and therefore very peaceful, it was stifling - little to no breeze. Southern half of Chaweng on the other hand had a constant on-shore breeze which kept you cooler and a constant supply of little waves for the kid to play in. Of course it also had lots more people - but there was plenty of room to find shade.
