In a country where fish and seafood are a major industry (and one they're good at), it is natural that Agadir leads the way in bringing together foreign and domestic suppliers at its huge International Fish and Seafood Exhibition every November. Over 7,000 visitors a year come to see the exhibits displayed by fish and seafood suppliers from all over the world.

The Honey Festival is a yearly event that takes place in Agadir at Argana. The historic Argana Beehives are purported to be the largest beehive collective site in the world. Many of the hives are made of reed cylinders and covered with clay.

Like music? The Timitar Festival celebrates Berber culture with music, dance and the arts. Nearby Marrakech has an annual film festival - the FIFM every September with outside, open-air showings of Bollywood films. Marrakech also has a Folklore Festival, displaying traditional music and dance. Another yearly and much anticipated festival there, is the World Music Festival that takes place every September, with open-air concerts.

The Marrakech Popular Arts Festival is another crowd-drawer every year, and for runners from all over, there's the Marrakech Marathon..
