Morocco contains the highest mountains &  valleys in North Africa.

The Atlas Mountains are a mountain range in Northwest Africa extending about 2.400km through Morocco, Algeria & Tunisia. The highest Peak is Jbel Toubkal 4167m (13671ft) in southwestern Morocco, the second highest is the M'goun of 4071m. The Atlas Range separates the Mediterranean and Atlantic coastlines from the Sahara Desert.
