AIA Honolulu has an excellent inexpensive ($10) architectural walking tour on some Saturday mornings. Check the calendar on their site. They also have an annual free walking tour around April 1. Note: Saturday, April 13 2013




Some of the map links above have parking info on them. There are several parking lots or structures that have inexpensive validated parking.

One is Chinatown Cultural Center. There are several restaurants & shops in the building where you can dine or shop & get your validation.

One is Aloha Tower Parking lots. There are many shops and restaurants where you can get inexpensive validated parking.

There is one parking garage that has free parking on Saturdays between 8am and 4pm. FYI there now may be a rate of $1 or more on Saturdays now. The garage is located on Queen st. between Fort Street Mall and Bethel St. near Aloha Tower.  University Center garage, 828 Fort Street Mall with entrance on Queen Street.

If you are going to any particular restaurant in Chinatown or the Historic Honolulu area, call ahead and ask about validation and where to park.
