There is plenty of information about Wisconsin available online, which can be very useful to visitors to the area.

A good place to begin doing some research is on the official website of Wisconsin’s Department of Tourism .  This is a typical US state tourism site, and contains tons of useful information for first time travelers and returning visitors to the area.  The Regional Maps page is a useful feature on this site, as it allows users to obtain information on specific areas throughout the state.  Within each region, brief descriptions are provided for most towns and cities, allowing the user to determine which part of the state to explore.  The “Trip Planner” link (at the left of the homepage) provides information about major issues such as where to stay, what to do, where to eat, and more.

For an alternative to the above mentioned site, check out the Escape to Wisconsin Website , which is sponsored by the state’s Visitor’s Bureau.  Between the two options, all travel questions should be answered.

For legislative, business or legal issues, visit the Wisconsin Government Website .  This site also contains a Visitor’s Link.

For detailed weather information about any of the state’s major cities or towns, visit the Weather Channel website.
