Have you been to New Hampshire? Did you get much past Lake Winnipesaukee? If you've been wondering what the Granite State has to offer, here are a few suggestions for the next time you visit the 'Shire.

A true undiscovered gem of New England are the services of the Prana Floatation Center in Manchester. Reviving the tradition of sensory depriving floatation tanks, Prana offers a number of custom built tanks that are available for you to relax, heal, and enjoy yourself. After your float, take a walk down the street and enjoy some great live music by the river at Milly's Tavern over at 500 Commercial Street.

NH's seacoast community is most certainly worth a visit in the summertime; sporting a thrumming nightlife and beautiful backdrop for a long walk. A bite to eat at The Friendly Toast, will give you the fuel to get you on the go, along with a strong side of vibe to boot. When night falls, the place to be is The Red Door, located at 107 State Street in Portsmouth. Comfy couches, friendly barstaff, excellent DJ's and great energy can be found behind the red door.

As you might expect, the 'Shire also offers plenty of adventure in the wild. Worthy of a trip on its own, the Flume Gorge in Franconia is nothing short of stunning. Walk along the twisted path of an 800 foot gorge, made easily navigable with wooden bridges and pathways, leading you under gorgeous waterfalls and other wonders of nature.

Planning to bring the kids along?...If so, no NH trip is complete without a visit to Storyland!

Perhaps your spirit for exploration runs on the high side and you're willing to delve into the far reaches of the Great North Woods...or maybe you're just driving to Canada. In either event, a drive up the 8-mile Mount Washington Auto Road will dazzle you with its views and leave you in awe as you witness the conditions atop the largest peak in New England. Once your four wheels are back on the highway, take a cruise up the road to Berlin and have a look at those wonderfully goofy Moose with the Northern Forest Moose Tours at 961 Main Street.

How can you not love a state with the motto "Live Free or Die?"
