If you are looking for cheap, fast and traditional Polish food, then all you need look for is "Polskie Smaki." The restaurant is located at Ulica Sw. Tomasza #5, and has a large sign outside that can't be missed. At breakfast, lunch or dinner times, it is also packed with locals -- which is always a good sign. Some people may be attracted to this restaurant as the outside appearance does not appear touristy as there is a LACK of an English-language menu displayed outside (like everywhere else), but don't worry, they have one in English inside. This is a counter-service restaurant where you first order your meal, then your name is called in a few minutes when it's done. It takes mere moments before you have a table full of traditional Polish food for under $10 USD for two. The Bigos (Hunters' Stew) is recommended, as are the Pierogi and Cheese Crepes. This is a great stop to quickly yet tastily re-fuel before taking in more sights of this wonderful city.
