Directions: After leaving the terminal, follow the airport road out to the main road (T-Junction). Turn right here and follow the signs for Port Douglas. You'll pass through a number of large roundabouts (so remember your road rules!). At the Smithfield roundabout, you turn right. Follow this gorgeous road north (keep your eyes on the road - not on the lovely beaches!) The turn off for the Port Douglas village is to the right. The route is well signposted, so you shouldn't have a problem. The drive is around 65km and takes about 50 minutes.
