Alma Libre Bookstore is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm AND 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Sunday hours are 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

Alma Libre Bookstore has an astounding selection of new and used books. New books include travel guides, books on the birds, fish and animals of the area, books about the Maya and Mexican history. Also books on yoga and massage. Used books include classics, mysteries, biographies, sci-fi and general fiction. In all there are about 20,000 books to choose from. They also have maps of the Yucatan, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Central America.
