There is an airport right in Roissy, so flying in could not be easier. The flight to Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport, also known as Roissy, is about 90 minutes from the United Kingdom, 7 hours from New York, 10 hours from Chicago, and 11 hours from Los Angeles. Flights arrive via Air Canada, Air France, British Airways, Qantas, American Airways, Continental, Delta, Northwest, United, US Airways, and others. Once you arrive in the airport, you may need to board an inter-airport bus from to get from one terminal to another. From there it is easy to hail a taxi to get to your final destination, but there may be an extra charge for each piece of luggage.

If you are coming in from the United Kingdom, consider taking a boat or ferry across the Channel. The trip can take anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the type of vehicle and your point of departure. Popular routes are between Folkestone and Boulogne, Portsmouth and Le Havre, and especially Dover and Calais. From Boulogne it is about 150 miles to Roissy. From Le Havre it is about 120 miles, and from Calais the trip is about 180 miles.
