The temperature in Spoleto is moderate, making it comfortable to visit there during almost any time of year.  The average summer high temperature is in the mid-eighties, which can feel a bit warmer depending upon humidity levels but which is generally comfortable for most travelers.  The average summer low temperature (during the night hours) is just below seventy, making summer evenings an excellent time to enjoy walks in the city.

The winter temperatures are similarly moderate.  The average low temperature during the coldest months of the year is in the mid-thirties.  During the daylight hours, winter temperatures are generally in the fifties, making Spoleto a place which many travelers head to from colder areas of the world.

In terms of rainfall, the time to head to the area to avoid the rain is during the summer, with July and August being the driest months of the year.  It rains fairly steadily during the other months of the year, with peaks in the autumn when average monthly rainfall is approximately fifteen inches.  The winter months are generally not especially rainy, but there is another rainy peak right at the end of winter or beginning of spring.
