In the city of Montecatini Terme as well as around the region of Tuscany, there are many colorful and entertaining events and festivals held throughout the year.

Here:
Montecatini Terme events you can find all the relevant venues interesting for tourists.

At the beginning of the year, the most obvious day of celebration is held on January 1st, New Year’s Day.  This is a national holiday throughout Italy and there is plenty to see and do throughout Tuscany.  The New Year’s Eve celebration in Montecatini Terme is great fun, as the streets fill with people and live music sours through the air.

Although not on the same scale as in Brazil, Carnival is celebrated throughout most of Italy.  Almost every town throughout the country will host some sort of celebration on the day before Ash Wednesday that includes costumes, parades, and traditional food and drink.  The largest Carnival celebration in Italy is held in Viareggio, which is about an hour drive from the city Montecatini.

Throughout Tuscany, harvest time takes place sometime between the end of September and the beginning of August.   After all of the grapes are picked for the season’s wine, celebrations are abundant.
A unique event that will be coming to Montecatini Terme during November of 2007 is the World Hydrogen Technologies Convention .   This is a bi annual event, which has chosen Montecatini as its next host city.
