Montecatini Terme is a year round destination, because even though the air temperature in the summer months is warmer than during the winter, the thermal pools stay just as hot.

On average, the warmest months of the year are July and August, during which time the daily high temperatures will generally hover around the mid 80’s.  The nighttime temperatures during these months will drop to the low 60’s, creating perfect sleeping weather after a day at the spa.

On average, the coldest months of the year are December and January, during which time the daily high temperatures will generally be in the lower 50’s.  The nighttime temperatures during these months will drop to the mid 30’s.

The summer months draw the most visitors, during which time the leaves on the trees are green and the climate is perfect for being outdoors.  The winter months are less busy, which makes them a perfect time for planning a trip.  The area experiences mild weather during this season, and some believe that the cooler outdoor temperatures make the spa experience even better.

The months leading into the winter generally see the most precipitation, although it rains throughout the year.  On average, June and July are the driest months during which there is much sunshine to be enjoyed.
