The city of Mestre in the Veneto region of Italy is known among locals, and some lucky tourists, for its nightlife.  Mestre is home to several nightclubs, bars and restaurants in varying styles and price ranges.  The website, In Venice Today ( www.invenicetoday.com), has a nightlife page which lists all of the nightclubs and after-dark venues in Mestre, as well as in other cities in the Veneto region.  The listings give the addresses and telephone numbers of the clubs, and their logos provide links directly to the clubs' websites themselves.

Among the clubs listed on this site is Al Vapore.   Located in Mestre at 30175 Marghera, this club features live jazz, blues and rock seven nights a week and is a very popular nightspot for local music lovers.  The club also features art exhibits from local artists which change twice a month and is the home of its own record label, Srazz, which is dedicated to publishing all types of music from across the globe.
