One of the most important archeological sites in Sicily and Unesco World heritage site. The temples are actually built on a ridge south of the higher hill where Agrigento stands today. Fom East to West, walking along the so-called Via Sacra, you can admire the Temple of Hera (Juno), Concordia, Heracles (Hercules). On the other side of Piazzale Alexander Hardcastle, there are the remains of the Temple of Zeus (Jupiter), Castor and Pollux, the gardens of Kolimbetra (run by FAI) and the Temple of Hephaistos (Vulcano).
