The L.A. Metro Area offers events that happen only at special times. These events fall into 3 categories all of which appear below:

1. On-going Special Events. These are events that happen, typically, one day, every week of the year.

2. Short-Term Special Events. These are events that happen, typically, a few days per year or a week or two per year.

3. One-Time Special Events. These are events that happen once (and, often, upon short notice).
