Dining in Llandudno
One of the great things about Llandudno is that you seem to be spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants.
Below are some recommended restaurants.
Valentino Ristorante & Pizzeria at 3a Gloddaeth Street which is just two blocks back from the Promenade. You can order take-away from there or dine in. The seafood pizza and vegetable and rice dish are delicious.
The Osborne House Cafe Grill. Even though the decor appears posh, you can just roll up in casual gear to eat there. Then after dinner you can take a stroll along the Pier or Promenade.
Richard's Restaurant is just around the corner from the pier, and at £26.50 for three courses it's worth every penny. Excellent food quality, and it is well prepared and presented in an intimate dining room upstairs, or downstairs in a bistro style atmosphere. Dishes to try here are: starters - Vietnamese hot & sour fishcakes, crab & avocado parcel wrapped in smoked salmon; entrees: roast monkfish wrapped in parma ham on an asparagus & sundried tomato risotto, fillet steak with melting cheese in a whiskey & wine sauce; puddings: creme brulee, with vanilla pod ice cream & tropical fruit salsa. The restaurant has just changed its name to The Seahorse but remains under the same ownership and quality delivered by Don & Gill Hadwin.
