There is much to keep travelers busy during the day throughout an Innsbruck vacation.  However, if it’s a good vacation, nobody wants to go to bed just because the sun goes down.  Travelers interested in exploring the nightlife options available in Innsbruck should take their chances on the following hotspots:

  • Prometheus Keller - is the oldest dance club in innsbruck, located next to innsbruck's most popular sight "Goldenes Dachl".  It is divided into a café, where you can eat (toasts) and drink cold and warm drinks, the other part is the prometheus - keller [cellar], the town's oldest dance - floor & bar (21 years?); this club really has an unique style, very cheap prices, nice guests n staff  and definitely very stylish djs and sound!
  • Blue Chip dance club is a very popular hotspot for the young snowboarder crowd from the local university from Thursday to Saturday night.
  • Bacchus is a gay / lesbian dance club which opens at nine each night and keeps the dancing going until either two or four in the morning, depending upon the night.

  • Couch Club is a dance club which has both DJ’s and live music every night of the week.
  • Hofgartencafe is a local bar with both indoor and outdoor seating, occasional live music and a number of drinks to choose from.  This is a bar popular with the younger adult crowd although not so rowdy as to turn off the older folks.
  • Limerick Bill’s ( http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction... ) is an Irish pub with a modern dance floor.  This place usually has live music on weekends.
  • Nacht is the best of the late night places, as it stays open all night long, at least until the sun starts shining the next day.
  • Krahvogel is a pub-like place where they serve some food, a small amount of really tasty cocktails and in summer you can consume everything in the cosy garden.
  • Theresienbräu is a crowded place to spend the weekends partying. They are an actual brewery where you can watch the beer be made. They have a DJ on weekends, serve traditional Austria food and homemade beer.
  • The nightlife mile called "Bogenmeile" is situated along the Ing.-Etzel-Strasse east of downtown. There you can find lots of clubs and bars of different kinds open all night long.
