It is an initiative with local farmers to promote agro and eco- tourism. It was founded in Xewkija in late 2005, by Victor Galea, the Chairperson and project manager (co-ordinator) of the Ager Foundation, and his wife Miriam. You and the whole family can spend a relaxing time milking goats, shearing the sheep, cutting wheat with a sickle, collecting local produce and even making the local cheeselets, 'gbejniet'. For the children, it's a totally new experience to learn about life on the farm - feeding hens, rabbits, goats and other animals, collecting freshly laid eggs and a chance to ask all the questions and having them answered by the local farmers.
