The archaeological museum in Samos town is well worth a visit if you are at all interested in ancient Greece. It contains a large range of statues and artefacts - from Samos naturally. Most impressive is a huge kouros or statue 5m high, but there is a lot more, though you can get a bit bored with all the pots towards the end!
