Nightlife in Corfu should just be called Morning Life. The truth is that the party does not end in the Ionian Islands until the last man or woman retires to their hotel. A variety of bars, nightclubs, and cafes are at the traveler's disposal.  The stream of night music starts in Corfu town's Liston and extends well up the north coast .

Begin to the right of the Old Fort . This is where Akaition lies, a bar in Corfu that offers drinks with a moonlit sea view. Then, start exploring the coast between Corfu and the beach resort of Gouvia. Ekati and Esperides are two Greek nightclubs along the way. Ekati plays a combination of dance music and Esperides mostly offers traditional Greek music and dances. These venues are only precursors for the evening.

Don't forget all the small and lovely bars hidden around the island in all the beautiful seaside resorts.  In Agios Gordios a fantastic bay on the west caost with a very charming village  offers a large variety of bars from pay to get in "supposed clubs", to lovely daytime beach bars, try Robin's Nest  in the village center, a bit dark and hard to find but definately worth it once you get there, colors, costumes and a very great hostess who makes sure everyone has a good time. Also in the village make sure to stop by the Lemon Tree, situated in a very lovely garden, great bartenders, friendly and fun.

Continue past Gaios Paxos. Apokalypsis, Hippodrome, and DNA await visitors who crave loud music and want to free their dancing inhibitions. These discos spin all kinds of uptempo music. Don't be surprised to hear Belgian techno music as part of the mix. The door fees are moderately high at certain nightclubs, but may include a free drink. Pastec (watermelon with vodka), kumquat alcohol (local fruit beverage), metaxa brandy, and Venetian ginger beer are some favorite local drinks.
