The Greek people love to have a good time, and this is no different on the island of Mykonos. This is especially apparent during the late hours when the nightlife begins. In fact, Mykonos is famous for having the most rowdy, crazy and wild nightlife in all of the Aegean Sea.
The streets in the city are literally packed with clubs and bars, making it truly an adult’s playground (assuming the adult loves to party). Finding the right atmosphere is only a matter of walking far enough up the streets, because the variety is absolutely amazing. Don’t worry; there is plenty of time to explore, because the vast majority of the late night establishments stay open until dawn.
Looking to run into some of the island’s famous visitors? Head to the Hotel Phillipi, which is in the center of town. If celebrities head out on the town, chances are they will end up here somewhere along the line.
The Scandinavian Bar is also a great spot to check out. Some have rated it as one of the World’s best bars. It also has really greal poles lined all through the bar, very cool for pole dancing
Note that drink prices on Mykonos are some of the most expensive in the world (even more than New York and London).
