As of  15th March 2007 the airport authority is opening a new desk for independent faro car hire operators half way along the indoor concourse next to the information stand and opposite the British Airways Ticket Desk.

The following instructions apply:

"After collecting your baggage, pass through customs, and exit into the arrivals concourse. Turn left and continue 100 metres along the concourse inside the building, passing the Police Post and the Meeting Point on your left. You will then see on your left a counter signed Car Hire - Others. Look for your car rental company sign."

At present, am advised that this definitely applies to Yorcar and Luzcar! Also understand it applies to all the others who used to hang around on the right hand side of the concourse as one walked along the concourse.
