Benidorm's Population

Benidorm's population is nigh on impossible to quantify and has caused Spain's home office a headache when allocating it into the league table of  Spain's cities.

Officially, the population is 90,000 which means that unofficially it is around 120,000 (as many residents are not registered). This makes it Spain's 14th largest city.

However, during the summer months the population swells to over 300,000 putting it well into the country's top ten.
