Los Alamos is the name of the area of Torremolinos closest to Malaga, capital city of Malaga province. This is the quietest of Torremolinos's beaches, though it gets very busy in July and August, especially at weekends. The chiringuitos or beach bars here are among the best in the area. The beach consists of fine, golden sand and is long and deep. There is a good promenade and more facilities for parking cars than on any other beach in in this area. At  the end nearest Malaga, just after the sign indicating the border with Malaga the road turns inland (to the left). You can continue walking along the beach at this point but there is no promenade. If you walk for about 10 minutes you come to an official nude beach.
