Hamburg, Germany experiences all four seasons with fairly average temperatures:  cold winters, warm summers, and pleasant autumn and spring weather.  Visitors enjoy visiting the city at all times of year for its lovely natural surroundings and annual festivals.  The temperatures during the summer generally are pleasnt, averaging in the high 70's to low 80's F. The weather, however, can change unpredictably during the day. During the summer, plan to take along a rain jacket and a sweater, even if it's sunny when you head out.
