Hello tourists to Berlin!

Insiders Tours lived up to all its claims on the brochure. I had the pleasure of visiting with them the Sachenhausen Concentration Camp in Ornienburg, 12 miles north of Berlin, last week. It was a whole day of revelation. What made it so memoprable was without doubt our untiring guide Mike Stack. He was a fount of knowledge for my hungry imagination and spared not one minute in fulfiilling his duty as a guide. If there is someone who goes the extra mile and defines 'friendly', it's Mike. I was lucky to have had him explain the complex and tragedy-wrought topic, with its background heavy with history. 

Insider Tours are professional. I look forward  to seeing more of Berlin with them.

In August - September 2009 I enjoyed three different walks offered by Insider Tour Berlin: The Famous Insider Walk; the Cold War Tour; and the Third Reich Tour.  They were all well-planned, informative and great value for money.  They also all happened to be guided on the day I took the walks - by Mike Stack.  I have done walking tours in several countries - and Mike is definitely up there with the best.  He is knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic.  He can also talk whilst walking backwards - there's not a dull moment.
