Stuttgart has a fairly extensive public transportation network which includes buses, streetcars, and a subway which all operate from 5 AM to 1 AM every day. The city also has a network of night buses which operate during the late night hours when the other forms of public transport are not available. The pricing for tickets is done by zones, the cheapest being a single ride (one way) ticket for a short zone at 1.20 Euros. Single or group all-day ride tickets are also available. Prices for these range from 5.00 to 13.00 Euros. The city's public transport system is modern and efficient. It bills itself as being one of the best in Europe, taking locals and visitors alike just about anywhere they need to go in the city.
