Visitors to the St-Rémy-de-Provence region very often enjoy making shopping a part of their experience there, and there are several types of shops for people to choose from according to their tastes and mood.  Of course, food and wine are what the region is most well known for, and for many visitors these are the first things that they want to buy.  Fortunately St-Rémy is home to many gourmet and wine stores, some specializing in particular varieties of food or wine only.

Among the area's more popular gourmet shops are Le Bazar Saint-Remois at 1 rue de la Commune, a fancy grocery store and market selling all kinds of local delicacies, and Le Cave aux Fromages at 1 Place Hillaire, selling many types of locally-made traditional cheeses.

There's also Joel Durand Chocolatier on the "ring road" , selling small boxes of chocolates spelling out someone's name or a special message.

Also famous for its parfumiers, St-Rémy-de-Provence has several perfume and upscale beauty product shops.  Two popular ones are Florame in the Mirabeau Building and Parfumerie Esthetique Helois on rue de la Commune.
