Public transportation in Galway mainly consists of buses, but they are plentiful and easy to use. The area has excellent bus services, with a number of bus companies doing business there. Bus Éireann, Ireland's national bus company, has extensive service in the area. They offer transport in the city and to its surrounding areas as well as tours and trips for tourists. Schedules and fares are on their website. Galway's other public bus service, City Direct Bus, offers service within the city only.
