The Black Box is located on Hill Street in the city's Cathedral Quarter, near to the Merchant Hotel and Nicks Warehouse restaurant.

The venue hosts music events for all genres from folk to dubstep to electro to thrash metal! They also have poetry readings, book launches, film screenings, visual arts exhibitions and every other sort of art event in between! They are also one of the main venues for the Out To Lunch festival in January, the Belfast Film Festival in April, the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival in May and the Open House Festival in September.

The cafe is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm and the Pizzeria is open from 6pm to 11pm Thursday to Saturday. All events are listed on their website www.blackboxbelfast.com
