Another popular annual event is the Otley Walking Festival which is a nine day festival taking place in June of each year.  Geared towards helping tourists get the full Leeds experience in a short time, this festival highlights the best of both the nature and city of Leeds.  A large portion of the events take place in downtown Leeds, showcasing the historic city centre.  The walking tours extend all over Leeds, in both the city and the country, for the full enjoyment of active visitors.

Harewood House, a popular stately home, hosts over a 150 Leeds events per annum.  These range from car rallies, open air theatre, family days out and live music concerts to food and wine demonstrations, talks and lectures.
