Check the official London website for information on a plethora of topics.  Here you can get info everything from what’s on television, current film listings, a calendar of events for opera, theater, clubs, comedy and sports, among other things, as well as reviews for a number of museums, galleries and sights. You can also view maps created by London celebs, such as The Naked Chef (otherwise known as Jamie Oliver), which give you a list of their favorite hotspots. You can also get all the boring, yet essential, info such as weather, post office info, etc.

If you need to contact your nation's embassy or diplomatic mission whilst in London, a full list can be found at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website - http://www.fco.gov.uk/ (on the right click on "Directory" then "Foreign Embassies in the UK").

There is a main Tourist Information Centre as well located near Piccadilly Circus. It is called the Britain and London Visitor Centre and is at 1 Lower Regent St., SW1. Contact them by calling +44 (087) 0156 0366 or emailing blvcinfo@visitbritain.org. While you are there, pick up a copy of the FREE monthly publication "London Planner" which has a fantastic comprehensive listing of sights, attractions and events in London.

VisitBritain.com should be able to answer any questions you may have about your journeys.
