Undoubtedly, the easiest way to get around Blackpool is by bus and most routes have the low-floor buses. These buses have a front that lowers for easy access by buggy, and also have an additional ramp for wheelchair users.
Timetables are well-adhered to and maps to the corresponding routes can be found on most bus timetables. Costs do vary but if you are going to be travelling a couple of times in one day on the buses and/or trams, it may be cheaper for you to invest in a day card, and prices start from £3.40 and the most expensive is £21, which is a seven day bus pass. F or guests who are travelling along the promenade, you will probably want to travel on the tram. The tram stops regularly and runs every few minutes or so. Unfortunately, the train line is not connected between Blackpool North and Blackpool South (both come from Preston) but if you are staying with relatives who are out of the centre, the train may be the cheaper option.
