Throughout Cheltenham there are many attractions for people to visit, which include museums, art galleries, pools, churches, the spa, and more.

The Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum is open year round and is free for visitors to explore, although donations are greatly appreciated.  The hours of operation are 10am to 5:20pm Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays.  The art gallery has a large, permanent collection, of which many pieces were donated by local residents who served in India during the 19th and early 20th centuries.  There are many exhibitions that come through both the museum and art gallery.

The Cheltenham Spa is one of the main attractions of the city.  People have been coming to Cheltenham for the therapeutic qualities of the water since the late 1700’s.

The Sandford Parks Lido is an Outdoor Swimming Pool that is one of the country’s largest.  It is open to the public between April and October, and the hours of operation are from 11am to 7:30pm every day.

The St. Mary’s Church in Cheltenham has loads of history, as it dates back to the 11th century and is the city’s oldest building.  It is open to the public throughout the year, with regular visiting hours Monday through Saturday, and a service held every Sunday.
