Quadra Island is nestled in the Northern Gulf Islands Archipelago or what is better known as the Discovery islands. About half way up Vancouver Island between Campbell River and mainland British Columbia, Quadra has some of the most impressive scenery on the coast. Activities include hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. Canoe and kayak rentals are available in Quathiaski Cove and Heriot Bay. The Main Lake Chain Provincial Park located on the island is worth the visit alone. Rent a canoe or kayak or bring your own and explore this lake chain, it's well worth it. The only shuttle service for those without a car on the island is Out For Adventure Wilderness Tours located in Quathiaski Cove, just up the hill from the ferry. Rebecca Spit is a great place for sea kayaking. Great Island all round - people are fantastic!
