There are many taxis in Niagara. The best place to get one is in front of a big chain hotel.

Travel to Niagara-on-the-Lake 

If you're interested in travelling to the pretty, historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, here's contact info on two cab companies: 5-0 taxi: (905) 358-3232 or (800) 667-0256. The other: Niagara Falls Taxi.

The distance between the two communities is 20km/13 miles.  Regarding cost, in Feb. 2008: a 5-0 taxi shuttle to N-o-t-L was C$10 one way or $18 round trip for adults and $5 one way or $9 round trip for children. The shuttle picked up a couple of different times at Sheraton Fallsview, the Fallsview Plaza, Brock Plaza, Sheraton on the Falls and the bus terminal. Rental Cars

If you intend to take a Canadian rental car into the United States, ensure the rental company notes on the rental agreement that they authorize you to take the car into the U.S.    You may be asked by Customs for this documentation when entering the U.S. or when re-entering Canada.
