Whistler is a resort town known as a great place to go skiing. However, it’s also a place that provides many options for late night entertainment and fun. A visitor’s day can be quite full in Whistler (during all seasons), with several hours of skiing or other outdoor activities, a nice dinner, and finally an evening in one of the many nightclubs in town.
Each of the nightclubs in Whistler is unique in its own way. Tommy Africa’s is one of the favorites among tourists. It’s been around since 1988 and is located in the main part of town, called “Village Square.” The nightclub is proud to announce that it’s the only club in town to have go-go dancers! It’s also known for the variety of music they play, as well as all of the dancing that goes on there every night.
The Longhorn Saloon & Grill is also another favorite night spot for both locals and visitors to Whistler. Visitors can play pool, darts and video games while enjoying some good food and drinks. The music played here is mostly modern rock.
Merlin’s is another spot that is frequented after a long day of outdoor sports activities. This is the spot where many of the people who work on the ski slopes go after a day’s work. People with children can eat dinner here, but at 8 p.m., the night’s entertainment begins. Merlin’s often hosts live music and wild theme parties.
